We don't sell licences.
We solve problems.
Open source gives businesses access to powerful technology without automatically locking them into expensive licensing models. That doesn't mean open source is always the right call — it means it's always on the table.
HOW WE DECIDE
We evaluate four kinds of technology on every project, and pick based on what the business actually needs — not which product has the biggest licence fee, and not open source for its own sake either.
WHAT WE WEIGH
Cost
Licence fees add up fast, especially per-seat pricing that scales with headcount. Open source removes that cost where the tooling is mature enough to rely on.
Security
Open source isn't automatically more or less secure than commercial software — it depends on maintenance, patching and how it's configured. We evaluate each option on its actual track record.
Support
Some open-source projects have excellent community support; others don't. Where reliability matters, we factor in whether a project has active maintainers or a commercial support option behind it.
Lock-in
Commercial platforms can make it expensive to leave once you're in. We weigh that against the benefits of a vendor's ecosystem and support before recommending it.
